The staff at Automotive Concepts is made up of experienced and dedicated individuals that all have a great passion for the automotive industry. Both our sales and installation staff are dedicated sharing their love of cars with you by bringing you a fun and exciting experience - no matter what the job may be.
John Prosser - Owner
Shortly after earning his political science degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, John Prosser began as a sales rep for Automotive Concepts, Inc. Within six months he took ownership of the business and together with his team, transformed a once small Minneapolis auto shop into the Midwest leader in complete vehicle customization which it is today.
Now more than 20 years later, John continues to oversee all business aspects of the company. He sums it up as being responsible for having the right quality people using the right products all within the most effective processes. John credits the diverse team of talented individuals that leave no stone unturned to see that the customer’s distinct personality and imagination are brought to life.
“Interior, exterior, electronics, performance, wheels and tires - every aspect of the vehicle is considered. We have experts on staff to handle everything from product selection to installation.”
In addition, John is committed to providing superior customer service. That is why Automotive Concepts is proactive where it matters the most to ensure a hassle-free experience - whether it be picking up or delivering a vehicle from the customer’s home or place of employment. “With all of these components in place the customers can be confident that we are taking care of not only the basics, but also creating an awesome experience for them.”

Jeremy Luffey
Jeremy Luffey joined Automotive Concepts in 1995 and quickly moved up the ranks. Today, as General Manager of the 30,000+ square foot facility, he oversees the company and is involved in practically every aspect of the business.
"Cars have always been a passion of mine, even at a young age. I always knew that this was the industry for me and I work hard to make sure our customers' needs are not only met, but exceeded in everything we do."
Jeremy's keen understanding of the industry and innovative ideas are key reasons why Automotive Concepts is the cutting edge company it is today and continually remains ahead of its competition.

Dave Heikes
Dave Heikes has been in sales for more than 20 years. And even though his career began with a brief stint in the swimming pool industry, his underlying interest in cars hit a growth spurt when he first met John Prosser in 1989.
During these early years Dave would cycle through a different car every six months. He’d install a convertible top then boredom would set in so he’d sell it, purchase another and install another top.
He equated his car projects to the pool business he was in at the time. Take a plain backyard and turn it into a paradise. With his convertible tops, he could take a plain car and turn it into a luxury car.
Shortly after purchasing Automotive Concepts, John was looking for a person just like Dave - someone who enjoyed restyling vehicles and working with people. Dave prides himself on being a common sense type of person. A person who is honest, trustworthy and faces issues head on. “I’m having a ton of fun mainly because I enjoy the variety of people I work with…and there’s every type out there. It’s also a fun business because we offer top-of-the-line products to our customers through a complete restyling process. And our installation team and facility is the best around. ”

Dino Perfetti
Dino Perfetti joined the team at Automotive Concepts in 2007, after 20+ years in the automotive aftermarket industry. Prior to Automotive Concepts, Dino had a 17-year career in sales and management with a van conversion company and most recently operated his own customizing business.
