Comparing Truck Bed Liners

PROS: Drop-In Bed Liners
Drop-in bedliners can be easily removed from your truck bed. Most have thick, rigid bodies that provide adequate protection against dents in the bed of your truck. Drop-in bedliners are long lasting and easy to clean. Drop-in bed liners are available in under-the-rail applications as well as over-the-rail for added protection. Some drop-in bed liners, like the BedRug, are made from flexible materials.

PROS: Spray-On Bed Liners
Spray-on bed liners form a permanent, yet stylish, watertight barrier between your truck bed and the outside environment, protecting it from corrosion, rust, scratches, scrapes and dents. In the event that the spray-on liner does become damaged, it can be easily repaired by Automotive Concepts with our Lifetime Guaruntee as long as you own your truck. Our spray-on bed liners also resist gasoline, diesel, oil, chlorine, fertilizer, acid and salt.
The liner adheres directly to every curve and contour of your vehicle, creating a non-skid surface that will not crack, peel or warp and holds cargo in its place. Spray-on liners are easy to clean and the material we use at Automotive Concepts is environmentally friendly. Spray-on liners can be applied under-the-rail or over-the-rail for added protection.

CONS: Drop-In Bed Liners
Drop-in bed liners can shift around and rigid versions can scuff the paint underneath. Dirt and sand can get behind a drop-in liner, making scratches even more likely if you don’t keep the area clean.

CONS: Spray-On Bed Liners
Spray-on bed liners can’t be removed.
